WHO WE ARE


 

Slate Properties ("Slate") is a privately owned, boutique real estate investment firm located in Dallas, Texas. We pursues investment opportunities with a focus towards ground up multifamily development throughout Texas, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio & Houston. To date Slate has developed over 5,000 Class A multifamily units, totalling more than $600 Million in asset value.

Slate Properties targets raw land and existing assets for future multifamily developments in areas with high barriers to entry. Our investment strategy encompasses both boutique merchent build developments and institutional sized long-term generational assets. We seek to create value through entitlements and by leveraging strategic relationships with stakeholders built over time.

Our development team manages projects from the due diligence phase, working to create value through entitlements and design. Slate Properties provides a hands-on approach for a range of construction management and asset management related services for multifamily development projects. We carefully select our design, construction, and properties teams to take advantage of a coordinated team approach from the initial phase all the way through stabilization. Services include: constructability reviews; budgeting; value engineering, contract management; construction management; site coordination; ownership reporting; and quality control.
